Why I Created The Margins Method

I never set out to start a ministry or launch a method.
I just wanted to hear from God.
I had a Bible. I had the desire. But I still felt disconnected—like I was reading about God instead of meeting with Him. I tried reading plans, note-taking, and “the right” study tools, but I often ended up overwhelmed or untouched. The words stayed on the page, and my heart stayed tired.
For over 15 years, I studied the Bible inductively. I used the Precept Inductive Method and even completed their courses. I loved the depth it offered, but I also saw how many women gave up, feeling like the process was too complicated or too heavy for everyday life. I realized there was a deep need for something simpler—something that could still lead women into truth, but in a way that felt life-giving instead of overwhelming.
That’s when God, in His kindness, began to show me something different.
Something slower. Simpler. Deeper.
It began when I gave myself permission to linger. To circle a word. To underline a verse. To stop and pray when something stirred. Without the pressure of perfection. Without the confusion of too many markings or wondering if I was following the rules properly. Slowly, the margins of my Bible began to fill—not just with notes, but with responses. Conversations. Moments where the Word came alive and my heart awakened.
That’s how The Margins Method™ was born.
It isn’t a trend or a new theology. It’s simply a gentle way of returning to what’s always been true:God wants to meet with you—right where you are.
The Margins Method™ is a simplified, Spirit-led approach to inductive Bible study. It teaches you to observe the text with fresh eyes, respond to what the Holy Spirit reveals, and reflect in ways that make Scripture unforgettable. No pressure. No perfection. Just space to meet the Living God.
So if you’re longing for more than another study guide… If you want to move from knowing about God to truly knowing Him… If you’re craving depth, but in a way that’s gentle and Spirit-led…
Then welcome, friend.
This is your invitation to meet with God in the margins. And I can’t wait to walk with you.
