Meet God in the Margins

Where overwhelmed hearts meet the God who restores.
Margins Ministries exists to serve overwhelmed women who are carrying more than their hearts were meant to hold. Through trauma-informed, Spirit-led Bible study resources and gentle, sensory-aware discipleship tools, we help women meet God in the places where life feels loud, heavy, or confusing.

Many overwhelmed women also live with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, sensory differences, or trauma-shaped neurodivergence. We gladly hold space for that. You are not broken or disqualified from intimacy with God. Your mind was intentionally crafted to reflect His image.

“The parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.” 1 Corinthians 12:22

Jesus meets women in the margins long before life feels orderly. We simply make room for that encounter. Margins Ministries would be honored to support your church, ministry, or group with resources that honor the nervous system, respect the healing journey, and keep Scripture at the center.

Step into the margins with us, where the overwhelmed find rest and every woman finds belonging in Christ.
ANNOUNCING
The Well Read Bible Project
Living the Gospel Deeply, One Season at a Time
The Well Read Bible Project is an invitation to slow down and walk through Scripture with presence. Each season of the year carries a rhythm that mirrors the gospel story—formation, redemption, kingdom, and renewal. Together, these rhythms guide us through twelve anchor books of the Bible that help us see God rightly and live from His truth.

This is not a race to read the whole Bible in a year. It is a call to live what we read. Each seasonal volume invites you to dwell in a few key books—reading deeply, marking meaningfully with The Margins Method™, and letting truth shape both thought and practice.

Every page, prayer, and margin is an act of becoming well read—not just in Scripture, but in the ways of Jesus Himself.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help trauma-weary and overwhelmed women encounter the living God through Scripture, nervous system honoring practices, and Spirit led study. We seek to support neurodivergent women with tools that respect how their minds process faith, offering gentleness instead of pressure and belonging instead of shame. We also work to equip the Church to understand both trauma and neurodivergence as part of the beautiful diversity within the image of God, so that every woman, in every season and every story, knows she is welcomed, wanted, and truly belongs in the Body of Christ.
Our Biblical Foundation
“Speak Lord, for your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10

Every person is made in the image of God and invited to hear His voice, even in seasons marked by trauma, overwhelm, or nervous system exhaustion. This ministry was born from the conviction that the Church must become a gentler and more aware place for the wounded, the weary, and the differently wired. Where others may see struggle or disruption, God sees design, purpose, and beloved daughters who are learning to listen again.

Our ministry stands on these truths:
Imago Dei Every person carries the image of God, regardless of trauma, ability, or wiring.
Unity in Diversity The body of Christ flourishes when every part is honored and every story is welcomed.
Healing and Wholeness Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and restore those the world has called less than. His compassion reaches the overwhelmed, the traumatized, and those who feel unseen.
Equipping the Saints We exist to offer tools, teachings, and compassionate understanding so that women healing from trauma, along with neurodivergent believers and those who love them, can grow, rest, and thrive in faith.
I've actually enjoyed using this method. I tried different inductive methods of study, and honestly they made me dread my bible study time as it was overwhelming to me. The Margins Method gives me a simpler but deep study and it's not overwhelming. Thank you Jane!
